Who we are
We are faculty, staff, and other ASU affiliates who like to play basketball, whatever your level.
- Motivations: "beats running on a treadmill", "I need to earn my beer", "basketball is life"
- Who plays: Mostly guys currently (shoutout to Debbie!), and we'd love more women to join. Everyone is welcome.
- Ages: 22 to 84 (not a typo)
- Skill level: from hardly existent to "he might have played college in his youth". No tryouts, no cuts. And most of us pass the ball even to us lesser-skilled players.
- Competitiveness: Usually low unless your team is losing. Generally friendly pickup.
- Teams: Picked fresh every time. You'll never sit out because you're new.
- Want to join? Show up at 11:30 ready to play. Find the oldest person in the gym, he will be able to tell you more.
